Citizenship in the World Composite Materials Environmental Science Fly Fishing Mammal Study Soil & Water Conservation

Be a Citizen of the World! Learn how to out-smart fish and be a Fly Fisherman, protect our environment, and conserve our natural resources. Experience mammals in a new way and find out how high strength composites are being used to save our natural resources. The field trip will be to a special presentation by the Pennsylvannia Game Commission. Scouts can also earn the World Conservation Award this week by completing the required merit badges.    Important information for Scouts registered for the 2008 Advancement Camp Be sure to check this page often to get information or forms required for the camp. Weather Merit Badge Precamp Visit to a televsion weathercaster.  Scout attending Week can join Stephen Cropper at the WTAE studion to discuss the career of a weatercaster. The visits will occur on July 9th and 17th. Please visit Event Registrations to sign up for this event. Merit Badge Cards:  Be sure to get a signed merit badge card from your Scoutmaster for each of the Merit Badges.  Your Scoutmaster must approve all merit badges prior to you beginning work on them.  This cards will be collected by the counselors during your first meeting with them. Photo Release Form:  This form must be completed and signed by a parent of guardian prior to camp.  You may mail to Flag Plaza or bring to the camp with you.   If mailing, be sure to mark it for Advancement Camp and the week you are attending.
