You must use microsoft word to make the article and email me it at: rashumaker@yahoo.com and type Eagle Project in the subject Line.
You must fill out a web release for any personal information that you want posted and you can obtain a release form below
and Email me and I will reply with where to mail it.
Dear Scouters,
Troop 416 is hosting a benefit concert to raise money for an Eagle Scout project, with details below. I am contacting you to request your help in advertising this event in your troop, sponsoring organization, and church. The project is to build a climbing tower which will cost over $6000, and we hope the majority of this money will come from this concert. It is also an opportunity to promote the Boy Scout Eagle program as an awareness event within the community.
This promises to be great entertainment for the whole family. This performer has several concerts that he has performed around the country and on TV: a patriotic show, a religious show, and an Irish show. However, he draws his best crowd when he does a variety show, so that is what he will do for us. So please invite everyone you know.
Following is a short ad (perhaps for a church bulletin), and a long version (to be used as a flyer or newsletter insert) and a PowerPoint slide (if your organization has a scrolling announcement presentation) are both attached. In addition to any of the ads below, I also have glossy posters provided by the entertainer if you know of a business or bulletin board that allows such items, and we would welcome the opportunity to come to your location at a convenient time to sell tickets. A local radio station has a lso volunteered to air an interview by this performer to promote this concert, so I'll forward the details of that interview when I get them. Please feel free to forward this to anyone you feel appropriate to announce this event.

Boy Scout Eagle Project Benefit Concert: Troop 416 is proud to present An Afternoon with Cahal Dunne on Sept 7 at 3pm. Cahal is a songwriter, pianist, comedian, and singer who has appeared with Bob Hope, Wayne Newton, and Tony Orlando. He has also performed for Presidents and on PBS. Cahal has graciously offered to come to Four Mile Church in Beaver to perform a benefit concert to raise money for an Eagle Scout project -- to build a climbing tower to be used by area youth groups.
